Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I purchase tickets?

Please visit axs.com or the Peacock Theater Box Office to purchase tickets. AXS is the only authorized ticket-selling agent of Peacock Theater. Peacock Theater cannot be responsible for the authenticity of tickets obtained through any other source and will not honor counterfeit and other invalid tickets.

Am I allowed to smoke inside of the theater?

Peacock Theater is a non-smoking facility (this includes electronic cigarettes).

Am I allowed to leave the venue and come back?

Peacock Theater has a No Re-Entry policy for all events.

When should I arrive?

For most events, doors will open one hour prior to the event’s start time. Guests are encouraged to arrive as early as possible, as all guests will go through metal detector screenings and visual/bag inspections prior to entry. Please see the Guest Services A-Z Guide for details on Entry Inspections and Prohibited Items.

Are cameras allowed inside Peacock Theater?

Non-professional, non-flash still photography is permitted at most events (digital, disposable, instant cameras, or 35mm cameras with no interchangeable or telephoto lens). Video and Audio recording is prohibited. Please note that some shows will have a different camera policy. Please see the specific event page or contact Guest Services for further information.

I have special dietary restrictions; can I bring my own food or beverages inside Peacock Theater?

Outside food or beverages will not be permitted inside of Peacock Theater. Guests with specific/special dietary needs due to medical conditions or religious requirements should contact Guest Services to discuss food options available. Unopened plastic water bottles, one liter or smaller will be permitted. Empty, reusable, one litter or smaller bottles would be allowed into Peacock Theater. Aluminum and glass bottles are prohibited.

Do I need a ticket for my child?

For most events, children who have reached their 3rd birthday will require a ticket to enter Peacock Theater and must occupy their ticketed seat only. Please note that some shows (especially those intended for children) will have a different age policy. For most children’s shows, children who have reached their 1st birthday will require a ticket. Please see the specific event page or contact Guest Services for further information.

What is Guest Services and where is it located?

Guest Services is located on the Lounge level of Peacock Theater and is designed to provide information to guests with questions, concerns, or issues during events. In addition, Guest Services provides assistance to guests with disabilities and/or special needs (see the Accessibility Guide) at any time before or after the event.

Does Peacock Theater offer wheelchair escorts?

Yes! Guest Services provides complimentary wheelchair escorts to guests when requested. Escorts are available at any entrance or guests may make escort arrangements on the day of the event, once doors have opened, by contacting Guest Services at (213) 763-6030 ext.3 when arriving to the venue. If a Guest Services Representative does not answer, please do not leave a message, but call back to speak with a representative. Can I take public transportation to Peacock Theater? What is the closest parking lot?

Yes! Peacock Theater is blocks from the Expo, Blue and Red Lines. Please see our Getting Here page for details on public transportation and parking.

Where are the closest parking lots as well as accessible parking?

For accessible parking

It is highly recommended for guests in need of accessible parking to pre-purchase parking along with your ticket purchase. Designated parking is available for guests with disabilities. These spaces, including van-accessible spaces, are designated for vehicles displaying a current state-issued disability placard or license plate. Is there someplace close to eat or to get a drink before/after a Peacock Theater event?

Is there a Lost and Found at Peacock Theater?

Yes! All lost and found items are taken to Guest Services. To inquire about a lost item please contact Guest Services with a description of the item and the date it was lost. Our Guest Services department is available for lost item inquiries Monday - Friday.

What should I do if I witness inappropriate behavior while in attendance at a Peacock Theater event?

During Peacock Theater events, guests are encouraged to use our 24/7 Software system by texting the word “MICROSOFT” with the issue and location to 69050. *MSG & Data rates may apply. Guests are also encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior to the nearest Staff Member. If you feel that the staff member doesn’t address any issues to your satisfaction, please request to speak with a Supervisor or Manager immediately.

Is there an age requirement for Peacock Theater Events?

For most events at Peacock Theater, there is not an age requirement to enter the theater. Please note that some shows will have a specific age requirement, however, you will be able to reference the specific event page for more information.

Can my child (17 or younger) attend an event at Peacock Theater without an adult?

There is no minimum age limit for this event; however, we prefer minors to be accompanied by an adult. Allowing children to attend an event unsupervised is at the discretion of the parent or guardian.

If I am not driving, where is the best place to be dropped off?

Please obey all posted signs when dropping off and be aware that LAPD will enforce the “No Stopping” signs posted throughout the district. There are areas designated for drop-off and pick-up. Taxis, Buses and Limousines must drop-off and pick-up passengers in these designated areas. The pick-up/drop-off areas are:

  • The white zone on Figueroa St. (Southbound) between 12th St. and Pico.
  • The white zone on Chick Hearn Ct. (Eastbound) between L.A. Live Way and Georgia St.

Are bags allowed inside of Peacock Theater?

Yes! Bags that are smaller than 14”x14”x6” will be permitted inside Peacock Theater. Backpacks of any size and all bags larger than 14”x14”x6” are not permitted. Please note that some events may enforce a modified bag policy. Please see the specific event page or contact Guest Services for further information.

What are Peacock Theater’s Prohibited Items?

The following is a partial list of items that are prohibited at all Peacock Theater events and are subject to change. Please contact Guest Services or specific policies/information.

  • Weapons, knives, pepper spray/mace, flares, fireworks
  • Food, beverage, alcohol, cans, bottles, flasks, coolers, drugs, illegal substances
  • Pamphlets, product samples
  • Strollers, skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles, helmets, chairs, beach balls
  • Laptop/Tablet computers, 2-way radios, laser pointers, flashlights
  • Balloons, permanent markers, spray paint
  • Noise making devices: air horns, drums, whistles
  • Cameras: no flash/professional photography, tripods, monopods or selfie sticks
  • Recording Devices: audio or video
  • Bags (backpacks, large bags, suitcases, luggage): may not be larger than 14" x 14"
  • Signs/Flags/Banners/Posters: may not be larger than 11" x 17" or attached to a pole/stick.

 

Is there a designated public forum space?

The following areas are public fora in accordance with LA Sports and Entertainment District Specific Plan (City Ordinance No. 174,224 as amended by Ordinances No. 178,134, No. 179,413, and 181,334 (“Ordinance”)) and members of the public may exercise their rights of free speech and free expression, subject to time, place, and manner restrictions: (i) Xbox Plaza; (ii) Chick Hearn Court (when closed to traffic); (iii) the Chick Hearn Sidewalks (i.e., the public sidewalks and private setback areas located on each of the north and south sides of Chick Hearn Ct., sidewalks on the west side of Figueroa St. with a total width of up to twenty three feet (23”)(consisting of a fifteen foot (15’) wide sidewalk and eight foot (8’) wide private setback area), provided that the Chick Hearn Sidewalks are narrower than twenty three feet (23’) wide from the curb in certain locations due to the placement of building structures (including the Crypto.com Arena and Peacock Theater) as well as stairs and other structures (e.g., statues)) and (iv) Figueroa West Sidewalk (i.e., the public sidewalk and private setback area located on the west side of S. Figueroa St., between 12st Street and Chick Hearn Ct. (consisting of 15’ sidewalk and 5.78’ private setback, which widens to a total width of 23’ in places)).
